Love for the Cortez keeps the connection alive between Nike and Kendrick Lamar and this time, the retro runner experiences a few more changes regarding its construction  This time around, Kendrick’s Nike Cortez Kenny IV is converted to a slip-on sneaker to resemble a house slipper, a common footwear go-to for many of LA’s natives.  This concept is complemented by the leather quilted insole and secures the heel with a rear drawcord adjustment.  Durable textile uppers and overlays form the upper region while the foam midsole combined with the herringbone rubber outsole to handle the grip and comfort.
