Nike x Carhartt WIP Collection 12.06.18

This first ever Nike and Carhartt WIP collab exhibits the rugged, contemporary style behind Cahartt WIP’s apparel in a new athletic light.  The Nike x Carhartt WIP collection combines the iconic American work wear aesthetics of Carhartt WIP with the pivotal pairs of the Nike archive.  First off, the Air Force 1 PRM WIP is approached with durable canvas uppers with corduroy at the heel.  The heel tab has a snap stud at the back.  3M underlays add a reflective shine around the swoosh with metallic eyelets to add to the workwear allure.  Embroidered on the tongue are the Carhartt WIP tags at one tongue with the Nike Air on the other.  Next, the Air Max 95 WIP features a tiger camouflage canvas upper with breathable mesh portions.  3M reflective accents are placed at the laces, lace eyelets, tongue portion and heel.  You’ll find the Carhartt WIP label embroidered on the right tongue with the Air Max tag on the left.  Lastly, the Nike x Carhartt WIP Air Force 1 UT Low PRM WIP exemplifies the Carhartt mentality with durable materials and utility components without compromising the quality of the iconic AF1 silhouette.  The Air Force 1 UT Low PRM WIP has a durable tiger stripe camo print ripstop upper with wool lining for insulation and warmth.  A magnetic buckle vamp relieves the traditional laces of their duty with a ballistic nylon strap running through the eyelets.  An elongated nylon heel strap holds a large d-ring for easy entry and compliments the military aesthetic.  The midsole unit and outsole is covered with gum rubber with Air-Sole cushioning to support the foot comfortably.  Lastly, the Carhartt WIP patch and Nike Air patch are placed on the tongues to make it official.

The Nike x Carhartt Collection drops Thursday, December 6th in store at our Yorkville and Markham locations at 12:00 PM EST.  Remaining pairs from the collection will be released online at 2:00 PM EST.
