Kim Jones x Converse Chuck 70 Utility Wave Hi Collection 8/4/21

Converse taps Dior's artistic director Kim Jones for his take on the classic Chuck 70 with a utilitarian twist.  Inspired by UK streetwear and late '90s culturem the Kim Jones x Converse footwear collection takes cues from outdoor style and infuses rugged utilitarian aesthetics.  The court-classic is reimagined with the same foundation but sees minimalistic, yet contemporary updates such as the synthetic overlay across the medials that connect to the eyelets.  The midsole extends further up onto the canvas uppers with an additional piping detail.  Additional synthetic textile is placed at the spine for support.  Kim Jones branding located at the tongue with Converse branding at the ankles and heel plate.  Thick rubber shell toe midsole with high foxing.  An OrthoLite® cushioned footbed comforts the underfoot while the rubber outsole provides the grip.
