An early wear-test sample during Mike’s injury-riddled second season in the NBA, Jordan Brand experimented by placing the Air Jordan 2 outsole and midsole unit underneath a traditional Air Jordan 1 “Chicago” upper. You’ll also notice an early mock up of the Wings logo on the upper, as the Air Jordan callout is replaced with Nike.
